Jonathan's Senior Pictures at Frisco Heritage Museum
In my last post I went on and on about how great it was to shoot on an overcast day. Can I say how NOT so great it is to shoot on a day that is too sunny for it's own good?!? :) Of course most of the time you can find at least a little shade and/or there are tools and tricks to make it all better... when presented with lemons, you make lemonade, right?! And that's kinda how Jonathan's session went, sun-wise and otherwise.. Though he was way less than keen to be in front of the camera (and told me that he basically was not going to smile), we ended up with some great shots - and even, in spite of himself, a couple of smiles... at least half-smiles! And I think we all had a little fun in the end, too. Because Jonathan, a 2015 senior at The Winston School, turned out to be a very fun - and funny - guy. One of the things he does for fun (other than photo shoots - ha ha) is wood and glass working... and he is quite good at it, too, from what I can gather. So much so that he hopes to make a living doing that after graduation and further schooling... gotta love a fellow artist! :) Best of luck to you, Jonathan, as you graduate this spring and set forth to make your passion your living! I hope that your future is full of beautiful pieces that will make others smile (and maybe you, too)!
